Solid Silicone Pectoral Implants
Pectoral implant may provide upper chest enhancement through plastic surgery for cosmetic or genetic defects. Many body types do not allow for the building of muscle tone and definition of the pectoralis muscles as easily as others, therefore a solid silicone pectoral implant, when correctly surgically inserted, can permit a natural appearance of a firm upper chest. Other times, congenital defects such as Pectus Excavatum or Poland’s Syndrome may lend to an abnormal shaped chest. In these cases, many patients turn towards a custom chest implant to provide anatomical balance.
Spectrum Designs Medical manufactures the softest solid silicone Pectoral Implants, designed specifically to enhance or reconstruct the shape of the male pectoralis muscle. The soft silicone material allows a larger implant to be inserted through a smaller transaxillary incision. Designs by Dr. Adrian Aiache and Dr. Brian Novack provide a full range of contours and projections to augment chest size.
